RVA Prop 8 Protest

Today was the nationwide Join The Impact protest against the passing of Proposition 8 in California. The even was organized almost entirely online, and in only a few short days. Starting at 1:30 PM eastern time, in all 50 states, from city halls to town squares, advocates of equal marriage rights, hit the streets, to show the world what we think! Here at City Hall at 900 E. Broad St. in Richmond, VA lots of people came out, there were young and old, gay, straight, families, children. And threw our signs in the air, chanting, and singing. We got a lot of support from passers-by, and all went well. It was very peaceful, and there was no opposition.
